Fishing was down, the carp weren’t spawning yet, the water is deep and still stirred up from the flooding. However that didn’t stop Team Helgeson!! They did very well! They said they just looked for reflection and shot. They swept almost everything, 1st 29 pounds, 2nd 26 pounds and 3rd 24 pounds. They won for total weight at 419 pounds with 31 fish. Team MOE came in second in the total weight category at 139 pounds. Other teams who in past years caught dozens of fish only caught a few this year. It still was a really fun day of camaraderie, fishing, and for some nice winnings and for those who don’t fish some great door prizes!
