Little Rock Lake Assocation Mission

"The intent of this Association is to build a community to protect, maintain and improve the Little Rock Lake watershed and adjacent Mississippi River area."

Meeting Location & Time

Meetings will be held at the Watab Township Hall. From Rumor's go south on Highway 10 to County Road 79. Turn right (west) onto County Road 79. Watab T­­own Hall is one block down on the left.

Monthly Membership meetings will be held at 10:00am on the second Saturday of each month. Coffee will be provided.

Lakeshore residents are encouraged to attend meetings. If you would like to be put on the agenda to speak or raise a concern, please contact the LRLA president.
 

The LRLA has been a tax exempt organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code since 2004. Donations to our organization are tax deductible and go directly to supporting the mission of protecting, maintaining, and improving the resources within the Little Rock Lake Watershed.

Become a member of the Little Rock Lake Association and join in on the fun and the important work being done! 

Two options:

$25 pays for membership until August 1, 2018 or $50 for membership until August 1, 2019.

Make checks payable to LRLA and send to P.O.Box 326, Rice MN 56367.

Previous Accomplishments

  • Annual picnic at Rumors 
  • Annual July 4th Pontoon/Boat parade 
  • Partnered with Benton County Soil & Water for lake shore restoration projects and monitoring
  • Annual coloring contest at Rice Elementary to promote healthy lakes 
  • Works with Benton County during the flood season 
  • Spearheaded 2006 weed spraying project 
  • Participated in the Healthy Lakes Program through the Initiative Foundation
